Jacques Adnet chrome wine pourer

This incredibly stylish chrome wine pourer was designed by Jacques Adnet. Made in the Art Deco period in France the pourer has tripod ends made of chrome square rods, one tripod being longer than the other so that when the wine bottle is in situ the bottle top is higher than the bottom to prevent spillage. A chrome tube connects the tops of the two tripods and acts as a handle. Two smaller round chrome rods connect the tripods at the bottom with a chrome curved concave tongue shaped slider for the bottle to rest on and an angular drip "trough" at the base of the tongue with a sponge in the trough to catch the drips. An iconic piece that is stylish and extremely useful!
